About Blue Sky Satos
We are a small but passionate team dedicated to rescuing dogs in need from Puerto Rico and helping them find loving forever homes in Colorado. Overpopulation and lack of resources for stray dogs have become a growing crisis in Puerto Rico. Many dogs are left to fend for themselves, including pregnant mothers and their puppies who have little chance of survival on the streets. With only a handful of rescues on the island—most of which are stretched beyond capacity—the need for action is urgent.
Our mission is to identify dogs in dire circumstances, provide them with the care they need, and transport them from Puerto Rico to Colorado. Once here, we work tirelessly to place them in loving homes. From adorable puppies to loyal adult companions, we have dogs of all sizes and ages ready to become part of your family. We aim to show people that there’s no need to turn to breeders when there are so many incredible rescue dogs waiting for a second chance. To learn more about adopting please click here.

Meet Elsa, the shepherd mix with ears that could probably pick up radio signals. 🐾 Rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico, this little lady is calm, confident, and 100% adorable. She’s got a heart as big as her ears and is all about cuddles, stuffed toys, and getting along with cats, dogs, and kids.
Elsa is a total couch potato at heart, but don’t let that fool you — she loves to play with other dogs and is already a pro on the leash. Working on her potty training skills.
Now, as for her breed... we believe she is a German shepherd mix and a dash of mystery. At 4 months old and 20lbs, we think she’ll be a medium-sized gal, around 40-50lbs full grown. We’ve seen her parents, and they’re medium-sized dogs.

Meet Pepperoni (aka Roni or Peppe)! 🍕 This adorable little ball of fluff was found as a stray near a pizza truck in Puerto Rico and is now ready for his forever home! 🏡
Pepperoni is a sweet, social boy who loves people and gets along great with other dogs. He’s super smart—figured out the doggy door in no time—and loves to wrestle with his playmates. While he’ll put on a big show of loud barks and growls, it’s all in good fun! He’s gentle, respectful, and full of personality. 😂
He’s already doing great with potty pads and is learning to walk on a leash like a pro. 🐾
Pepperoni is up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. He is approximately 3.5 months old and 19 pounds.

This sweet boy is 4 months old and already a bundle of joy! At 22 pounds, he’s the perfect size for snuggling, playtime, and endless love. Currently up to date with his vaccines, microchipped and awaiting neuter.
Oscar’s personality shines bright — he is affectionate, playful, and loves nothing more than being around people. He’s a total cuddle bug and will make an excellent companion for anyone who’s ready to shower him with love.
Oscar is also doing wonderfully with his potty training! He’s already mastered doing his number two outside and is doing great with using the pee pad indoors. He’s a smart and eager-to-please pup, making him a quick learner.
