BREAKING NEWS!
Amigos de los Animales Colorado is going solo! We are no longer a chapter of the PR organization. We are separate, newly registered 501(c)3 nonprofit (EIN 99-3899576) working towards animal welfare. New beginning deserves a new name: we decided to be doing business as Blue Sky Satos Animal Rescue! We have a lot to do to get everything set up, including this page, but the wheels are turning! Stay tuned!

Success stories
We are a small rescue and over last 3 years we have brought over 90 dogs to Colorado and found them wonderful homes! Every single one is a happy story and it is an absolute treat to hear updates from their happy lives!
Here see our rescue Jet: he was found as a puppy with burns all over his body. He also had one eye damaged which had to be taken out (thanks to CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital and our special donor Wes who covered the costs!). Even though he can only see some shadows with his one eye he is a very happy pup! Jet found his beautiful forever family in January 2022 and now goes by name of Felix Fancy ;). Later that year he became ADLA Colorado mascot! We love happy endings like this one!
